Our Kindergarten students went on their first excursion to Taronga Zoo last week. The teachers were so proud of the students and their wonderful behaviour, and their enthusiasm during the experiences they had engaging with the different animals they saw. Thank you to all the parents who gave up a day to attend and assist with the care of the children.
Mrs Scutt reported some British tourists saying how courteous, polite and well-mannered our students were. Well done Kindergarten!
Below are some of our students' responses to their excursion:
‘At the zoo, we saw the monkeys and the nocturnal house. I liked how the monkeys screamed. It made me laugh.’ Isla
‘Yesterday I went to the zoo and I saw a snake and the snake went close to the glass and its belly was red.’ Harry S
‘Today I went to the zoo. I saw a Chimpanzee. My most favourite animal was the snake because it is venomous.’ Jasper
‘Yesterday I saw a tiger at the zoo. It was sleeping.’ Kobe.
‘At the zoo, I went to the see giraffes. They were looking at me.’ Isabelle
