Forestville Students support Fiver for a Farmer

A huge congratulations to the whole of Forestville Public School for their generous donations to help our Aussie farmers. Forestville’s Fiver for a Farmer was a great success, with the donations reaching over $3000. This has been donated to Buy a Bale, shared equally between hay, water and diesel purchases. This organisation gives 100% of its donations to people affected by the drought.

Congratulations to 2NZ and 4T, both classes raising the most money in K-2 and 3-6. All of the students and teachers certainly looked the part, donning their best farmer outfits and getting into the spirit of the day. Charlie R from 3I won the best dressed student in the school.

A massive thank you to the SRC for organising the fundraiser to help our farmers and an extra special thank you to Daisy and Nicola, the SRC Presidents.

There was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the school, so hats/akubras off to everyone involved!
