School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

P&C AGM and General Meeting

Date: Tuesday, 17 March

Time: 7pm - in person or via zoom (details in latest newsletter)

These meetings provide a forum for parents to discuss the school’s operation with the school’s Principal. Other school executive members and teachers often attend and provide an opportunity to meet in an informal, friendly atmosphere.

Upcoming School Tour

Date: Thursday 19 March

Time: 9.30am

We would like to welcome you to our beautiful school. Please come along and meet the students and teachers of Forestville Public School. Tours run for aproximately 1 hour.

NAPLAN Exam Period

Date: 11 - 23 March

Time: During school hours

The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is a literacy and numeracy assessment that students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 sit each year. It is the only national assessment all Australian students have the opportunity to undertake.

Harmony Day Celebrations

Date: Monday 23 March

What to wear?

Come dressed in something which represents your cultural identity or background. Alternatively, you can wear

orange as this is the colour of harmony.

The Gr8 Race Fundraiser

Date: Thursday 26 March

The excitement is building and we are absolutely FLYING — over three quarters of the school is already registered, which is incredible! But we're not done yet! Every class still has a shot at taking home a epic class prizes:
