When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities
  •  is suitable for all body shapes.

Second Hand Uniform Shop

Forestville Public School Uniform Shop is a sub-committee of the parents and citizens association (P&C) with the aim of providing an affordable and accessible uniform option for all students. The uniform shop is run entirely by parent volunteers so please respect these times as they are also parents with work and other commitments.

If you are a new family staring at the school, we suggest that you make an appointment to ensure one of the volunteers can help trying on the new uniforms and helping you to place orders. Generally, this can take around 10-15 minutes.

The Second Hand Uniform Shop, which is located in D Block (near the Darley St entrance) every 2nd Tuesday from 8.30-9.15am and 2.30-3.15pm. Donations welcome and can be dropped off at the office.
