FLL team visit UNSW Water Research Laboratory

Last week, our two FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams went to the UNSW Water Research Laboratory. They learnt about renewable energy sources and saw wave energy machine prototypes. Our teams are currently working on solutions to various issues with renewable energy sources and will compete against other teams in friendly competition at the FLL challenge in Week 3 at Macquarie University.

Teams of students aged from 9-16 engage in research, problem-solving, coding and engineering – building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game. As part of the Challenge, teams also participate in a research project to identify and solve a relevant real-world problem.  This year, FIRST teams will reimagine the future of sustainable energy and power their ideas forward.
